O. Reg. 169/03 establishes the Ontario Drinking-Water Quality Standards under the Safe Drinking Water Act, 2002. It outlines the standards for contaminants in drinking water, ensuring safe and clean water for consumption.

O. Reg. 170/03 sets out the requirements for operating and maintaining drinking water systems in Ontario. The regulation covers various aspects, including operator certification, sampling and testing, and treatment requirements.

O. Reg. 319/08 outlines the requirements for owners and operators of small drinking water systems to ensure safe drinking water is provided to the public. Practices for the Collection and Handling of Drinking Water Samples provides guidance for the collection, labelling, storage, transportation and chain-of-custody of all drinking water samples that fall under the Drinking Water Systems Regulation (Ontario Regulation 170/03), Transitional - Small Drinking Water Systems (O Reg 318/08), Small Drinking Water Systems (O Reg 319/08), and Schools, Private Schools and Day Nurseries Regulation (O Reg 243/07).
